About Me

Justin Llamas, born in 1990, has not yet finished highschool, but is working hard to get the best out of life and maintain a high GPA. LOGO is currently his first professional series, but drawing comics is nothing new to him. He spent much of his childhood drawing futuristic comics (like Phantasy Star Online fan comics) and medieval comics. His favorite hobbies are: spending time with his friends, drawing, having 'fun', and spending WAY too much time editing, changing, and adding things to his websites.

Tools I Use
For inking,I use micron pens (size 3 and 8 and the brush one) which can be found at Michaels art store.
For penciling,I use a normal 2 pencil. Nothing special here.
For toning,I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. I have a tutorial in my Gallery on exactly how I use it. Also, I'll use some tones from DELETER Comic Works.
For size specifications, I use the TOKYOPOP mechanical specs. which you can print off from their website.
How I Do It
So, wondering how I use all of my tools above? Okay, this is how it goes.
1st, I start by drawing with my pencil on a paper, with the TOKYOPOP template taped underneath it. That way, I can see the lines through the paper, so I know how far to draw. So I work hard and finish drawing, then...
2nd, I ink my drawing. I go over the whole thing with my pen, very carefully because it's not erasable. After I'm done inking, I go over my whole picture with my eraser to get rid of all the pencil markings. Finish that up and then...
3rd, I scan my drawing onto the computer and open it up onto Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or Comic Works, then I 'tone it. Haha, you're done already. Unless you're planning on putting your comic onto the net, which means a LOT of resizing. Thanks for reading!
